Abstract
Having had the opportunity to spend a semester’s study in Spain, I chose to compare and contrast public relations in the cities of Seville and Chicago. The field is far less advanced in Spain, and particularly in Andalucia, the region in which Seville is located. Therefore, public relations in Chicago, one of the profession’s centers, is comparatively even more sophisticated in terms of both structure and function. Nevertheless, there are some surprising comparisons to be made between P.R. in these two very different locales.
