Abstract
Burch Woods is a 55 acre piece of land which was donated to Northern Illinois University by Mr. Barton Burch of Lindenwood, Illinois. It is located 2.5 miles north of Route 64 and 0.4 miles west of Mulford Road along Killbuck Creek. ... The following is a list of the plant species from Burch Woods. The list is arranged in alphabetical order according to family name, then genus and species. The numbers following the name refer to the community(ies) in which it was found. The key for plant communities follows the listing of plant species.
