Abstract
From an early age, children pretend and use imagination when playing with their toys and friends. They create their own stories with endless possibilities. When they grow up however, many of them lose that childlike spirit. The real world can be unfair and really tough at times, which is why a lot people like to escape the reality of their lives and engulf themselves in fantasy shows or movies. Not only do they get to enjoy something they wish they had or gain inspiration from these fictional characters, but they also get a sense of childhood nostalgia. This is how it has always been for me, watching female super heroes kicking butt and fighting for good. Female super heroes represent how powerful women are, and watching these characters has and will continue to inspire me to be a badass woman.
