Abstract
An attempt has been made to review the recent literature on cyclotron and bremsstrahlung radiation from hot plasmas. Expression for absorption and submission coefficients have been derived on the basis of Classical Theory. The results have been compared with those of other authors. Dipole radiation from a plasma has also been analyzed. A procedure suggested by D. W. Posemer had been followed to evaluate absorption coefficients. This coefficient as a function of collision frequency and velocity of electrons can be evaluated in a computer. This result when available will probably lead to the verification of the form of the absorption coefficient suggest by Tradmilov on his Geneva paper in 1958.
