This essay is a reflection of my undergraduate research project for the student engagement fund in the summer of 2019. I worked with Dr. Holly Jones and her lab to determine the effects of the reintroduction of bison on the niche breadth of mice in restored prairies. It focuses on the skills I learned and how this experience is going to impact my future both academically and in my post-graduation career.
