Abstract

Over the fall semester, I got to experience what it's like to be a graduate student. I juggled various tasks throughout my time like coursework, fieldwork, research, grant writing, and applying to graduate school programs. The experience and skills I gained being part of a research lab have helped guide me on a better path toward my future career goal of becoming a land manager and conservationist.
