A survey conducted via SurveyMonkey.com polling 73 subjects on how they consume news. Phone interviews were also conducted with five news professionals working in the online news industry. Data suggests that online is continuing to grow as the primary method of news consumption. This data is aligned with previously done surveys. Additionally, the interviews showed a clear pattern that news organizations are catering their content to their user. As behaviors and interest change, these organizations are adapting and innovating the news process.
