This thesis was a look at Europe as it is changing to become a single unified market. It describes a brief history of the EC, gives the goals of the EC and what it is trying to accomplish. In addition, it discusses what the possible outcomes will be such as increased employment, lower costs, better technology and more competition. Finally, it gives the most promising export production and the best markets to export to. Europe is attempting to become more competitive and this paper describes the barriers they have to knock down to achieve unity.
