Abstract
Abstract—- The Pressure Switch Test Stand is a comprehensive and automated testing solution designed to streamline the actuation and validation of simultaneously. At the core of the system is a PLC-controlled architecture that enables precise control and simulation of pressure conditions, replicating real-world scenarios to ensure accurate and reliable switch performance.
This test stand integrates robust mechanical fixtures, a reliable pneumatic control system, custom-designed electrical circuits, and a modular software interface, working in unison to deliver consistent and high-fidelity testing outcomes. Each pressure switch undergoes a sequence of pressure ramps and holds, with the system continuously monitoring switch states, activation thresholds, and hysteresis behavior.
Automated pass/fail logic is embedded within the control software, allowing for immediate evaluation of each switch based on predefined criteria. Test results and system status are presented in real time through a user-friendly Human Machine Interface (HMI), providing operators with clear insights and streamlined data logging capabilities.
Designed with scalability and ease of maintenance in mind, this test stand enhances manufacturing quality control by reducing manual effort, minimizing human error, and increasing test throughput. Its modular nature also makes it adaptable for a wide range of switch types and testing protocols, making it a cost-effective and efficient tool for industrial applications where reliability and repeatability are critical.
