Abstract

In this paper, I will examine the concept of corporate citizenship and its impact on corporation's decisions that are a reflection of various stakeholder's expectations. This paper defines corporate citizenship, gives the application there of, and also illustrates statistics on the affects that corporate citizenship present within a company's value. This paper queries whether corporate citizenship results in value that supersedes the dollar amount and time allocated to present it, or if its presence is merely a standard that is now being called to action; another means for profit maximization. Research will consist of analysis of in depth literature review, financial statement analysis, surveys, and interviews.
