According to NASA, the Earth is bombarded with over 100 tons of space dust every day. But from the asteroid that caused the dinosaur apocalypse to the mysterious Tunguska event in Russia, some meteorites have made a huge impact on our planet. As natural resources grow scarce, we also look to the sky for new sources of important elements to harvest or mine.
