Abstract

The purpose of this study was to relate what was dons by the Traffio Safety Institute* whloh was oonduoted by the Beloit School of Vocational and Adult Education of Beloit, Wisconsin, in educating the youthful truffle violator, the flagrantly careless driver, and the non-traffic violator. This study was also made to determine how well the graduates were maintaining good driving records. More specifically the study sought to answer the following questions: 1. How did the program of the Traffio Safety Institute evolve? A. Who pioneered the idea of a traffic school in Beloit, Wisconsin and what law authorized a traffic school? B. What group expanded the traffic school program in Beloit, Wisconsin? C. What group sponsored the program of the Traf­fic Safety Institute in Beloit, Wisconsin and what was the program's objective?
