Abstract

The preparation of (1-trimethylsiloxycyclopropyl)- trimethylsilane was explored. Its reactions with electrophiles were examined. The esters of 1-trimethylsilyl-cyclopropanol were prepared and the elimination reactions of these esters with bases or by flash vacuum pyrolysis also have been examined.
