Abstract
Five parasitic forma nd 20 non-parasitic forms of fungi were collected and identified from Montgomery Arboretum. Spores of Coprinus micaceas were germinated on corn meal agar. Spores of Lycoperdon perlatum did not germinate. In order to choose the best medium for supporting the growth of 3 strains of C. comatus and 2 strains of C micaceus two test programs were prepared. Corn meal agar appeared to be the best medium. Fructification of the fungi did not occur during the testing period.
