Mutagenesis
Abstract
A series of thirty-three dyes as well as twenty herbicides and thirty-six herbicide combinations were tested for mutagenic activity. The test system utilized was the Ames Salmonella/mammalian microsome assay. The results show that the compounds and mixtures tested are non-mutagenic with the Ames assay.
