Abstract
This thesis describes the data analysis on beam and apparatus monitors of an experiment performed as part of Fermilab E789. The experiment studied the muclear dependence of J/? production at values of the longitudinal momentum fraction, ?[sub F] (Feynman-?), from -0.1 to +0.1. J/? resonances were produced by an 800 GeV proton beam incident on beryllium, carbon, and tungsten targets. J/?s were detected in the ?+?- decay channel.
