Abstract
Statement of the problem: How can teachers recognize and use the clique in order that the social atmosphere of the classroom is improved for learning? Statement of method of attack: Through investigation of research done on cliquishness, the writer will interpret the material in the light of solving classroom problems due to cliquishness. By organizing this scientific knowledge and explanation of cliquishness, the writer hopes to show the importance of this social phenomenon in its relationship to the welfare of the pupil.
