Abstract

The original STRESS computer program is modified by introducing several new options. These options are classified as follows : - Quadrilateral Element (Using Numerical Integration ) - Thermal Stress Analysis - Plane Strain - Revision of Input and Output to Accommodate Above Options. Several illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the validity of the modifications.
