Abstract
This study was undertaken to acquire a better knowledge of the "long-range" development plans used by many of our colleges and universities and to determine whether our colleges and universities are making adequate progress in preparing for the years ahead. Studies from 1965 through 1968 seem to indicate that institutions of higher learning had not planned adequately to take care of their projected enrollments up to the year 1970. This study indicates that there has been some increase in comprehensive planning for the years ahead. Plans are underway in our colleges and universities that will help to meet the critical demands of the next ten or fifteen years.
