Family psychotherapy--Law and legislation
Abstract
This thesis reports the results of a questionnaire on the subject of marital and family therapists testifying in court as expert witnesses. From a review of the literature, it is evident that scant data exist on this subject in reference to marital and family therapists. Frequency of expert testimony by marital and family therapists is reported. The subjects of testimony are explored as well as the issues and concerns that marital and family therapists report regarding court involvement.
