Abstract

This essay is a support paper for a Joint Creative Thesis Project. The essay is an opinion piece that examines the three phases of documentary making (preproduction, production, post-production) and the various roles the producers played throughout the creation of Expressing AIDS. The essay also includes comments by the author on the evaluation of the documentary Expressing AIDS.
