Abstract
This work describes special and new applications for the Intel programmable peripherial devices as utilized in a microcomputer system. Intel special support devices are studied with the intention of utilizing a printer, tape player, and video terminal. The 8259 Programmable Peripherial Interface, 8275 CRT Controller, and 8257 DMA Controller are used in developing a system. The interface procedures described in this project can be implemented in any computer system.
