Abstract

"FORMULA: A Poetic Alchemy of Emotion and Identity" is an interdisciplinary art project that explores the intersection of mathematical symbolism, typography, and emotional cartography to examine the complexities of identity formation. Rooted in personal experiences and queer theory, the project delves into the cognitive processes that shape the self, particularly within the context of sexual orientation and societal norms. By intertwining poetry with digital media—such as 3D animation, video projections, and deep neural network-generated visuals—"FORMULA" creates a multisensory experience that invites viewers to engage with the intricate landscapes of human consciousness.

The exhibition challenges traditional perceptions of identity by employing modular design principles and looping videos to portray the cyclical and evolving nature of personal identity. The project’s use of typography transcends its communicative function, becoming a vessel for expressing deep emotional states. Additionally, the incorporation of an immersive soundscape, aligned with brainwave frequencies, enhances the reflective atmosphere of the exhibition.

Through this work, the artist invites a broader dialogue on the fluidity and plurality of identities, urging a reevaluation of conventional perspectives on sexuality and gender. "FORMULA" serves as both a personal narrative and a universal exploration of how identity is constructed and perceived, making it a profound contribution to contemporary digital art practices.
