Abstract
The development of an 800 MHz land mobile receiver is surveyed. The system design and the development of the corresponding design is covered. Special emphasis is placed on the development of filters used to optimize the receiver performance. Design of each of the individual stages is covered. Different circuits for similar functions are developed to give the author more experience in receiver design. Appropriate testing of each stage and the entire receiver is covered.
