Abstract

Using isothermal calorimetry, it has been possible to obtain the standard heat of formation of the solid u-peroxodicobalt compound [(NH3)5CoO2Co[(NH3)5] [NO3}5(s). A thermistor was used as the temperature sensing element; temperature changes of 1.5x10-4C could be detected.
