Abstract

INTRODUCTION Statement of the Problem. The purpose of this study was twofold: (1) to explore the ceramic-magnetic materials known as ferrites; and (2) to ascertain their adaptability in the construction of electrical projects in industrial arts facilities. Technical research and development in the field of ferromagnetic materials have brought about extensive interest and applications for ferrites. The significant importance of this material to industry lent itself to a general problem which nay be stated as follows: (1) To ascertain some industrial applications of ferrites as a new material; (2) To ascertain industrial procedures in the manufacture and application of ferrites; (3) To ascertain its suitability as a material for industrial arts classes; (4) To provide suggestions for laboratory projects.
