Abstract

Typically, even though natural frequencies obtained by analytical and experimental methods are compared quantitatively, mode shapes are compared only qualitatively. In this thesis, mode shapes are also correlated quantitatively to identify proper modeling and excitation of structures. Next from a properly correlated model, material properties structures were estimated.
